WWII Canadian Pilot Officer Uniform, Medal, Photo, insignia Group - 428 "Ghost" Squadron

Super grouping of Marcel La Porte who was a wireless Operator/ Gunner in Lancaster X's in the RCAF 428 "Ghost" Squadron.  He flew 30 missions between Aug 1944 and March 1945 and was awarded the RCAF "Ops" Wing.  the group consists of tailored Pilot officer Blouse (named inside pocket) with WAG brevet, ribbon bar, "Ops" Wing, Canada Flashes, shirt, collar and tie. Also includes his 5 unmounted medals (includes bar to mount the medals but never done by LaPorte) - 39-45 Star, France/Germany Star, War and Defense Medals and CVSM with Overseas bar. Also comes with extra WAG Brevet, ribbon bar, RCAF uniform buttons, a few photos and research including copies of his war records. Very nice group!
